If you hadn’t guessed already by the theme of my last couple of posts, this time of year is very important to me. I feel that my freedom was paid for in blood by others that I did not know and now never can. Therefore I owe it to them to always remember (all year round too!) and to keep the faith.
Two minutes of time is a very small price to pay compared to the what others have paid. Even those that “went over” and came back were profoundly changed by their experiences. You don’t always have to agree with the “why” but we still owe respect to those men and women that love their country enough (and by proxy us) to be willing to give their life for it.
So Thank You to all to all those that served, still serve, and to absent friends.
Until next time…
What shall I write? What shall it be? Two little words. Remember me!
